This tutorial will explain how to enable Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) on a Windows KVM VPS.
#2
After logon choose the VPS you want to work with:
#3
You will now see the control panel for the VPS, click on VNC:
#4
This is the logon info to VNC to your VPS. You can either use the Java link to connect using the java in your browser, or you can connect using
TightVNC or
UltraVNC. We recommend using TightVNC because it is the least buggy and most stable of the options.
#5
Once connected, you will be prompted with the Windows Logon, logon to continue. If this is your first time to logon, you may be asked to supply a new password. Otherwise you will enter your Administrator password:
#6
Once the desktop has completed loading you will be presented with the Server Manager, click the link for Remote Desktop:
#7
You will then be presented a new window with the Remote Desktop settings. Click the radio button to "Allow remote connections to this computer", click Apply, and you can now close out:
#8
Once completed you can logon to your Windows VPS with Remote Desktop (RDP).
