Why is the bandwidth different in the US and EU compared to Asia, Japan, China, Australia, etc.
Many countries like China, Japan, and Australia are about 15-20 years behind the US or EU in the network infrastructure capabilities that can handle high bandwidth. So often you see server bandwidth listed in 10Mbps increments, whereas, servers listed in the US or EU are listed with 1Gbps increments. If your server requires more bandwidth it is cheaper to host it in the US or EU.
